Derome AB Bioenergy - Kinnared
In 2007 Derome decided to build a new plant for pellet manufacture. They awarded the contract to MAGU to supply automation equipment for palletising.

MAGU planned, delivered and commissioned the electrical installation consisting of MCC, I / O cabinets, PLC & SCADA systems, with a total installed capacity of approximately 1100kW and about 500 I / O points.
The system was built around a Siemens S7-300 PLC, which, via bus communications, controls the intelligent engine starters from Schneider Electric. All critical security functions are handled by the PLC built-in security interfaces. The Operator Interface consists of Siemens SCADA system WinCC.
"The assignment came as a result of previous deliveries which included corresponding systems from Härjedalens Miljöbränsle AB," says Tord Andersen, project manager at MAGU.
MAGU Began work on developing a complete electrical design, after which the cabinet construction began.

At the same time, Derome installation electricians began to prepare for the electrical installation in close cooperation with Magus engineers.
Once the on site installationwas completed, intensive work with I / O tests was carried out. These were conducted jointly by Derome and MAGU, followed by software testing and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) before the start of production.
"We worked
long days to so that we could be completely finished on on
schedule," continues Tord. "But it's worth a little lack of sleep
to see the facility come to life and the first pellets come out on
the discharge belt."
Factory pellets were produced by two presses with a capacity of
about 4 tons / hour each.
When Derome in 2011 decided to expand the production with a third pellet press, once again they came to MAGU to deliver the automation solution.
