Adrea acquires MAGU Automation AB

The 1st of December 2009 Adrea in Malmö AB acquired all shares in MAGU Automation AB via the parent company Arnica AB.
 
MAGU Automation AB designs and manufactures standard and tailor-made process equipment for spray painting and surface treatment of plastic and metal products. The company has a global presence and well-established relationships with customers worldwide. The turnover for 2009 is expected to reach 20 million Swedish crowns.
 
Adrea is a well-established, independent private equity company based in Malmö. Adrea acquires companies with proven organic and structural growth potential and manage its companies with great commitment and a creative mind-set. When acquiring MAGU Automation, Adrea further strengthened its position as a leading private equity company within their niche.
 
Gustaf Haker, the founder of MAGU Automation, says that it is with reassurance that he decided to sell his company to Adrea that represents a broad perspective on corporate development with a serious and long-term commitment. Gustaf Haker will stay with the company as Senior Advisor and is looking forward to see MAGU Automation develop with its new owner.
 
MAGU Automation is a company with a very good position on the market for process equipment for spray painting and surface treatment and Adrea’s ambition is to further develop the company.
